It was an intense month for the Italian team, who competed in three Grand Prix races in Europe and Asia. Unfortunately, the results did not reflect the hard work of the entire team.
Moto2 | Catalan GP September 5/7
It was anextremely intense month for Team Italjet Gresini Moto2, which began in Barcelona, the venue for the Catalan Grand Prix and Albert Arenas’ home race. Despite a challenging Friday, the Spaniard secured fourth place in qualifying, earning a spot on the second row of the grid. Unfortunately, a problem with his bike prevented him from competing for a place on the podium, which, given hisexcellent pace, would have been within his reach. He ultimately crossed the finish line in sixteenth place. It was also a challenging weekend for Darryn Binder. He qualified in twenty-seventh place and finished in twenty-first place, despite making a comeback to reach the points zone.

Moto2 | San Marino GP September 12/14
Home race for the team: the San Marino Grand Prix at the Marco Simoncelli World Circuit in Misano Adriatico. Arenas got off to a good start, finishing sixth in free practice and tenth in qualifying with an excellent pace. However, the race was complicated by a contact in the early stages, which blocked the Spanish rider in the second group. Nevertheless, he managed to finish eleventh on a bike adorned with exceptional livery. Darryn Binder crashed in qualifying after a good Q1 and was forced to start at the back of the grid. Despite not having the best feeling with the front, he gave his best and finished in twenty-third position.

Moto2 | Japanese GP September 26/2
The Japanese Grand Prix marked the start of the Asian tour, which will also take the championship to Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia. At the Motegi circuit, Arenas progressed directly to Q2, ultimately securing a respectable twelfth position in qualifying. A weekend of improvement and good race pace enabled #75 to gain positions and finish ninth, earning him points in the world championship standings. It was an extremely challenging GP for Darryn Binder, who crashed in Q1 and had to start from twenty-fourth on the grid. He was unable to finish the race after crashing at turn 9 and losing the front end.

In the final stage of the season, Team Italjet Gresini Moto2 will be busy overseas again before returning to Europe for the final GPs. The next event is the Indonesian Grand Prix at the Mandalika Circuit on 3–5 October.
